This was the first island we visited from split and got on the ferry at 7:30am so we arrived there super early. We jumped into the supermarket at the pier and grabbed some water and snacks for the day.
As it was so early we thought we would top off and have some coffee in a cute little bar on the edge of the sea. It was lovely and we sat for quite a while just enjoying the view. We ended up popping back in the afternoon for a cocktail as well!
We saw an amazing beach from the ferry which turned out to be Bol so we walked along the path to find that. It was only about a 20 minute walk from the ferry port snd the walk was so beautiful. You could see the sea along the whole path and there were some amazing viewpoints along the way, as you can see from below.
When we got there the beach was empty so we got our choice if where to sit. None of the stalls were open at this point so we went for a swim and sat and sunbathed for a while. The stalls began to open and there was an amazing fruit stall which we got beautiful fresh fruit from which was so refreshing whilst sunbathing.
The beach was rocky so I think it would have been easier to get in and out of the sea if we had bought rock shoes which were on sale everywhere and now we know why! The water was beautiful here and throughout the day lots of yachts docked at the beach as well.
We came back to the town to get some lunch which was mediocre but had a lovely view so we weren’t complaining too much!
We had to head back for the ferry so we stopped off and had some coffee at the pier where the ferry would come in and ended up having so much coffee because it’s just so nice in Croatia! Where is it not nice though?!
There were a few resorts on the island that we saw and we would definitely have went back to Bol and elsewhere on Brač if we had been staying longer so I would definitely recommend it. It was a bit more expensive than split but we had expected that with it being an island.
